Artist Inspiration: Teil Duncan

I’m always inspired when I see how accomplished young artists are these days. I recently found Teil Duncan’s paintings of beach scenes and women portraits and I love them. I would hang her stuff all over my house if I could. I love the colors she uses and how she layers them in her paintings; she creates such depth and interest, it’s hard to look away.

I’ve painted since I was little, and ended up minoring in studio art in college. And recently I have been dabbling with the idea of selling my stuff. You may have seen some of what I have completed on Instagram. I get so much joy from painting it almost seems impossible that I would be able to sell it and share my joy with so many people. I can only imagine how rewarding it must feel.

And for your drooling pleasure, here are just a few of my favorites from Teil’s shop:

Love her stuff. I’m curious – did she reach out to you to do this post? This is the third blog I’ve seen her pop up on in the last week. (Not trying to be a troll – genuinely curious if this is a coincidence or other!)

Her work is beautiful, so I can see why others have done the same. Thanks for responding!
