Do you guys ever watch HGTV? Recently, they have been running marathons of the shows House Hunters and Love It Or List It, and I have been obsessed to say the least. So, just for the heck of it, I jumped on a site called Zillow and started to search properties in my favorite areas of Los Angeles (just to see how much they would be). Turns out—I found my dream home!
It was way out of my current price range, but a girl can dream, right? It had a white picket fence, dark wood floors, high-beamed (white) ceilings, a fireplace with unique detailing, a large kitchen with all the pretty appliances and one of my favorites—lots of windows and French doors making for perfect indoor/outdoor living (which I feel is a must if you live in this area). Outside in the backyard there was a salt-water pool and beyond the pool was this beautiful detached guesthouse/room. After I noticed the house had that little gem of a space, I immediately started to think about how I would set up my future office.
Yes, I was in complete daydream mode and it may have gone on for a solid two days over the weekend. Thanks to Pinterest, I was able to find the perfect inspirations for this future office of mine, in the home I won’t be buying anytime soon, but it was fun!
Do you ever intensely daydream? I may do it more than the average person, but I like it. Now, when the day comes where I can buy my dream house, I’ll be prepared, right?
