Decorate Pumpkins with Tissue Paper Designs

Decorate Tissue Paper Pumpkins // Lemon Drop Love

Halloween is a big holiday in this house. Scary movies, candy, costumes, fun drinks and of course, pumpkins fill the month of October in one way or another each year. This time around, we decorated our pumpkins instead of carving them.

And the break from getting elbow deep in pumpkin guts was actually kind of nice. Plus, it was so simple and fast that I can see us doing something similar year after year. We followed the directions from this site and printed the designs they provided on tissue paper. After cutting the designs out we stuck them on with Mod Podge. After letting them dry we were left with some pretty festive pumpkins!

Tip: We bought our pumpkins from Trader Joe’s, they were the cheapest around!

  3. Such a great way to decorate pumpkins without having to carve them! We live in an apartment so I hate the idea of carving pumpkins just for them to rot away indoors.
