Delicious “Mock”-tail Recipe

While being pregnant for the last 8-months from time to time I’ve missed Gin, Whisky, the occasional glass of wine, and my all time favorite—margaritas!

And as summer has started to wind down we have had cool days mixed with hot days, and since my core body temperature is constantly running hot, I couldn’t think of anything better than a frozen margarita to cool me off from the inside out.

We ended up making a batch of frozen deliciousness a couple days in a row and they were so tasty, I almost didn’t miss the tequila. And I didn’t think it would be fair if I didn’t share this easy recipe with you, so here ya go my dear friend.

Here’s what you need:

Lime Margarita

6oz. limeade concentrate

1/3 cup orange juice

4 cups ice cubes

Strawberry Margarita (just add)

6 freshly cut strawberries

This is how you make ‘em:

Combine everything in a blender and mix until smooth. Poor into your favorite glass and serve. To salt the rim—first simply wet the rim of the glass (with water or a lime wedge) and dip into salt, then poor drink mixture and enjoy!!

Note: If you have a few people that would prefer some actual tequila. After you poor the mixture into a class just add a shot of your favorite tequila and stir. This will avoid you from having to make multiple batches.

Tip: While you’re blending, if the mixture gets too think, just add a small amount of water at a time until you get desired consistency.

Do you have a favorite mock-tail recipe? I would love to hear what it is! xo Jen
