I am all for making things from scratch, but sometimes you can find the best recipes right off of the box. That is exactly what I did last weekend. I made the Bisquick’s melt-in-your-mouth pancakes and people had the choice of white or milk chocolate chips to be added to their pancakes. Brian found amazing bacon from Whole Foods called black forest bacon; it had an interesting dark color and was packed with so much flavor. Sunday’s breakfast had the perfect balance of sweet and salty and the combination was completely satisfying. Next time you are going to make breakfast for yourself or a group don’t be afraid to reach for the Bisquick box because those pancakes were oh so melt-in-your-mouth.
