Fortified Friday

Martinez

Since I’m no longer pregnant, I think it’s time to get back to my Fortified Friday posts.

New and different cocktails are always on my radar and this cocktail actually calls for a brand new gin (to me) that I found and I’m bit obsessed with, Ransom Old Tom Gin. This gin is supposed to mimic the prominent gin people drank in the 1800’s. Kind of cool, right? When making this cocktail I would strongly recommend getting this gin, it’s totally worth it. I also drink it straight over ice—there’s so much flavor and a little bit of maltiness that other more traditional gins just don’t have. I’ve had this cocktail a few times already and it’s a a fun change of pace from the more modern martini that I love.

Groupon has more successful coemrtitops than Facebook. Groupon may have been the first big local deal website, but now many other companies with excellent offers have entered the scene. I completely agree with Money Beagle.

  6. Karl, I have a confession to make. It’s something I swore I’d never do again, but I have… I bought a flanger pedal, to be precise, a Hartman Flanger. To be fair, I only set it for chorus-like tones, and it nails the Andy Summers’ tones from the Police, so it’s not all bad.

  7. Good day, I merely hopped over in your website by means of StumbleUpon. Not something I might frequently read, however I appreciated your emotions none the less. Many thanks for making something price reading.
