Good morning, and happy Monday friends!
This weekend was full of high’s and low’s for me.
Thankfully, I’m 95 percent sure we found our future home. We are just waiting for the final paper work. Logan and Sophie had to pass the interview process as well, and I’m proud to say they were excellent puppies.
It turns out, there isn’t a ton for rent here, and we spent time driving, calling, emailing all over the place and looking, looking, and looking some more. By the end of the day on Saturday, I was overwhelmed and feeling defeated at how little options we had. And some of the ones we did see, we understood why the price was so good—the neighborhood wasn’t the best.
Then there were some decent places, but we just couldn’t see ourselves happily living there because of the oddities, like there not being a bathroom on the second floor by the bedrooms.
But back to my original point, by Sunday I was feeling better, and I’m really excited about the place we found. It is perfect for us!
We also put our wedding planning hats back on and caught up on some details and emails that were waiting for a response. That’s fun stuff for me though. Can’t wait to share our engagement photos, and the inspiration board Bash, Please put together for us!
Have you ever seen that movie End of Watch with Jake Gyllenhaal? It’s really good, we watched it on Netflix and it kept us on the edge of our seats. Rent it, I think you’ll like it too.
Still dealing with not knowing where I am…ever. But I hear that will change in time.
Let’s have a happy week shall we? xo
